15:00 How to transform complex collected onboard emission data into a standardized basis for emissions allowances

Collected emission data from onboard become more and more complex due to emerging new fuel types, rotating crews and individual ways of reporting. However, those data must form a standardized and reliable basis for the calculation of emission allowances.

How can shipping companies, operators and ship managers create a set of plausibility-checked, approved and standardized data from what they receive from onboard? And how can those checks be automized and the data be automatically transferred to verifiers in a time- and cost-saving manner, so that shipping company staff can easily include the growing emission data administration into their daily tasks?
